报告题目：3D imaging: From microscale to atomic resolution

报告摘要：Three-dimensional visualization is very important for materials study. At the University of Sydney, we are able to perform 3D imaging on a broad range of scales by employing different approaches. The techniques include micro- and nano-CT, 3 view, electron tomography, and atom probe tomography. In this talk, the principles of these techniques will be briefly discussed, followed by examples of case studies performed by each technique.
 
报告人简介：A/Professor Zongwen Liu graduated from University of Melbourne in 1999 with the major of Electron Microscopy. In his research career, he has been awarded The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellow and Queen Elizabeth II Fellow (QEII). A/Prof. Liu ‘s research is focused on the synthesis and characterization of different nanomaterials with various techniques. He has already published 152 scientific papers on the worlds’ famous journals including Prog. Polym. Sci, Adv. Mater, JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. The total citations of his work are over 3000 times.
 
刘宗文，男，澳大利亚悉尼大学化学与生物分子工程学院副教授，博士生导师，伊丽莎白女王二世奖励计划学者。1999年在墨尔本大学获得博士学位，专业为电子显微学。1999年-2001年在澳大利亚昆士兰大学从事博士后研究工作，2001至2004年在日本材料研究所（NIMS）任高级研究员（Senior Researcher）。2004年起在悉尼大学任教。刘宗文老师的主要研究方向是显微分析技术在纳米材料、金属和陶瓷领域的合成与应用等，目前已经在Prog. Polym. Sci, Adv. Mater, JACS, Angew. Chem. Int等国际期刊上发表论文150余篇，论文总引用次数3000余次，同时兼任Journal of OAtube Nanotechnology、Journal of Functional Materials Letter 等国际期刊的编委。
